THE LASER CUT BASE PLATFORM FOCUS ON THE CELLS
Designed by computer optic simulation, the platform is laser cut to support the mirror bands and focus the light into the module. This module can be Hybrid, containing the photovoltaic cells or only Thermal, equiped with a solar selective surface material.
Silicon solar cells are the most expensive part of today's solar panels. Trigen Solar Generator substitutes much of the costly photovoltaic material with inexpensive and common glass mirrored optics to focus the equivalent light onto smaller high intensity solar cells.
 
TWO AXIS TRACKING ACHIEVES MAXIMUM EFFICENCY BY ENSURING DIRECT RADIATION
All concentrating systems needs to track the sun´s trajectory in order to receive direct sunlight. The more hours the system is focused on the sun, the more energy produccion obtained.
Although one axis tracking systems are also operative, these are fully functioning less hours per day, so some potencial energy produccion is lost..
Our two axis tracking is equiped with dual tracking system. Both "astronomic" and "real time sensors" are employed to ensure tracking the sun even on cloudy days thus maximizing energy production.
 
 
 
CONCENTRATOR CELLS FOR APPLICATIONS FROM 2X TO 100X
Laser Grooved Buried Contact Cells are specifically designed to run under concentrating conditions.
These high intensity cells run with much better efficiency (18-20%) than conventional monocrystaline silicon cells and have much better resistance against high temperature, ensuring a long-life of efficient electricity production.
