"GST-20X" BRINGS HEATING POWER ( 150ºC MAXIMUM) 1_ AXIS TRACKING TO IMPROVE ARCHITECTURAL INTEGRATION
Due to medium temperatures (<150ºC) reached by GST-20X, this solar thermal system fits both industrial requirements (sterilization, distillation, boiling, drying, desalinization) and is also suitable for commercial and hotel sectors.
It has been specially designed to drive air conditioning (ab/adsorption) machines.
The system is particularly focused on being placed on those large building where both solar heat and electrical power are required. Take into account that CTE Spanish law (Building technical code) requires installation of both systems in certain buildings.
It´s also suitable for installation in rural areas where building integration is not strictly required. we have made the effort to built an inexpensive, durable, high efficency solution.
The Thermal Generator GST-20X shares with its brother, the Hybrid Generator, both structure and technology and is only different in the module where the light is focused (3B). In this system the module has no photovoltaic cells.
The modules used in this system are what we call PV/T Hybrid Modules and produce both heat and electrical power.
The system has 60-65% global efficiency: “15-20% electric efficiency + 45% heat efficiency
In our systems, we concentrate the light by Fresnel mirror reflection. This is achieved by building a laser cut platform(1), and putting several linear mirrors on it to concentrate the light onto smaller photovoltaic concentrator modules(3). This receiver can be only Thermal or Hybrid. The Hybrid module contains high-intensity solar cells, producing electrical power, which are cooled by water-filled pipes for optimum efficiency. The pipes deliver the heat, @ 60°C - 90°C where required, as hot water, space heating and/or the energy to drive ab/adsorption air-conditioning systems.
