It has been operating since 2003. It has been used to check the technology and to improve the generator method.

Data collected for this prototype over a two year period has assisted the developement of the pre-industrial model shown below.

In building our second prototype, both the industrial procedures and the materials availability has been taken into account.

Our aim has been to reach an optimal industrial design to allow large scale manufacturing.

The dual tracking system allows accuracy in tracking the sun even in cloudy days.
